The Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow is excited to be a ZONE Qualifier for the 2010 DockDogs World Championships!
Come see what this exciting performance event for dogs is all about. Watch canine athletes run down a 40-foot dock and jump into a 40-foot long pool of water to compete in Big Air® (long jump), Extreme Vertical® (high jump) and Speed Retrieve® (fastest dog to the end of the pool) competitions. NEW! Boating Safety Course
Free course on responsible boating offered by the Kentucky Department of Fishing & Wildlife Resources (KDFWR) on Saturday, January 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Included in the course:
- General information concerning boats and maintenance
- Information to make your boating experience safer and more comfortable
- Tips on how to be a more courteous vessel operator
- Laws and regulations you must follow
In general, this information applies to all vessels (powerboats, personal watercraft, and unpowered vessels such as sailboats, canoes, etc.)
Register online by January 20 and receive:

Class will be instructed by a Conservation Officer with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.

KDFWR requests a $2.00 donation per customer for game participation. Proceeds will support KDFWR Summer Conservation Camp Program @ Camp John Currie (Kentucky Lake), Camp Earl Wallace (Lake Cumberland) and Camp Robert C. Webb (Grayson Lake). Camps are open to all Kentucky students who are in grades 4-6 and help them to stay in touch with nature and the outdoors.

Meet Tim Farmer—Fans of the Kentucky Afield television show will have a unique opportunity to meet host Tim Farmer. Farmer, who hosts the popular outdoor program on Kentucky Educational Television (KET) for the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, has been taking viewers “across the Commonwealth in search of outdoor adventure” for over a decade. Show watchers can meet and talk with Farmer between 7 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and from 11 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Department of Fish and Wildlife’s booth.

This 50-foot long, 5,000 gallon aquarium is stocked with native Kentucky game fish, including bass, perch, crappie and catfish provided by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife. Enjoy a rare underwater view of fish reacting to and even striking diferent lures and baits during fishing and casting demonstration held throughout the show.

Kids' Trout Pond—FREE for kids 12 and younger!
